Logistic Ops Center (LOC) Analyst (Overseas)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The LOC Analyst performs mission/resource analysis, coordinates with supply, maintenance and transportation functional areas and ensures supporting requirements and implied tasks are accomplished to standard and within required timelines. Requires a secret clearance to access the SIPR and retrieve, analyze, and process operational orders and classified taskers. The LOC analysts must be well versed in Army operating methodologies and the use of appropriate logistic information systems. Report and track readiness, contingency planning, and accountability for several battalion sets of equipment and supplies. Coordinates with the Maintenance Division, Material Management Center, Storage Division, and Plans and Operations Manager to meet mission requirements.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Uses AWRDS to prepare reports and provide research and set status. Advises the Set Manager on the status of the set and the readiness posture. Supports the Lead LOC Analyst to provide forecasting, configuring sets for C4I, tracking and preparing the set for issue.
Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma. 1 year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Operations, Maintenance or Quality Disciplines. Experience with Army Prepositioned Stocks Program is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Unit Status Reporting (USR) preparation and submission is preferred.
• Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• US Citizenship

MATERIAL and EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Personal Protective Equipment, office automation equipment to include desktop computer, printers, digital fax machine, shredder, plotter.
